    Dear Commissioner Bisignano,
I took early retirement, but had monthly payments withheld because I earned too much. I am now 2 years past my full retirement age when I should be getting reimbursed for those withheld payments, and I have gotten no repayments.
No one at the call centers knows that this repayment plan exists and argues with me that I’m not entitled to my own money!!!
Asked for a supervisor who finally agreed to look into it. Only she couldn’t fix it and my account now has to be reviewed by some “Adjustment Reductions Factor” department! That outrageous.
I paid into social security for all my 40+ years of employment! How come the cash center doesn’t know that i’m supposed to get reimbursed!
If I am entitled to whatever amount SSA calculates for early retirement, I should get those payments regardless of what i earn.
I’m getting taxed for SS while i’m working, so why would my money get withheld. My employment should contribute towards higher payments for me, not result in having my money withheld.
It’s just a way to not pay the SS recipient, almost a ponzi scheme, using my money.
Also, I waited 3 hours to finally talk to someone at the call center. That’s ridiculous.
And they don’t know anything about this reimbursement policy. They kept telling me I’m not entitled to the money that got withheld while I was working!!!! like what?!?!
Those payments i’m owed should not need eked out over ego knows how many months. I’m owed approximately $30000.00 I have no idea how much I’ll be repayed each month, or how long it will take to get it all back. The only information I have found makes it sound like I’ll be dead before I get it all back.
I, and anyone else owed withheld payments, should get that money back in one lump sum. There is no reason not to get it back except some bureaucrat came up with a scheme to keep our money under his/her control, and hope we die before we get it.
Another infuriating issue is the fact that not all of our SS taxes go into the the SS fund. That’s immoral, theft and should be illegal!
You have a lot to work on to make the Social Security Administration work in a straight forward, transparent, “user friendly”, ethical manner.
It’s pretty sickening that people who didn’t contribute, aren’t citizens, get SS benefits and those of us that did, and are continuing, to contribute can’t get paid our own money!
And the SSA needs to stop lying about why SS is supposedly going broke. It’s because our tax contributions don’t all go to social security, and our SS contributions go to people who are not entitled to a dime of it.
Stop lying to the young people, and people who are still working, by stating it’s the current elderly generation draining the pot, and using that lie to convince them they won’t have SS when they are eligible. Nice way to turn younger generation against the elderly.
Thank you, I hope to see improvements and elimination of graft, and all SS taxes put into SS fund sooner rather than later.

One of the reason Social Security is drying up because grandparents are adapting the grandkids and the grandkids still stay with their parents. I adopt my grandkid, but the mother adopted him back, but he still get my Social Security. Why is that?

The Social Security office in Lake Mary Florida should be investigated! I drop the paperwork off the same day they had printed it out for me and somehow it disappeared

Doesn’t surprise me. I’ve had to deal with a Mr. Starr. Not sure where he works from, but austen he, his wife and a woman named Catherine Mc something work in tandem to be your best friends then abuse you of stealing from social security. The accusations were so severe it will land you in the hospital cardiac unit. These 3 people are out to ruin the lives or take what’s left of lives of good people.
This is fraud on the part of social security. FRAUD.
I voted for Trump and I know that he didn’t work like this.
These people need to be investigated, fired and lose their pensions!!!
Subjective, very very racist, hateful and opinionated.

Why am I being ignored about my back pay it’ om old back from 2014…why doesn’t anyone have a straight answer? Why do I get hung up on ? Is it because I’m consistent when it comes to my business? Why when we owe social security the make sure we pay it back? Why can’t we get the same energy when you owe us???

I’m trying to find some contact information to file a lawsuit against the Social Security administration disability. My wife works for Social Security disability for almost 30 years now and now is getting harassed because of her position and the government doesn’t give a flying fuck. We’ve reached out to representatives and the courts to file a personal protection order and nothing. She is no longer safe at her position of a job because the government doesn’t want to protect their employees. I need an address so I can file a fucking lawsuit because you pieces of shit don’t give a flying fuck about your employees!!!!

I’ve been waiting 4 years! I finally got approved for disability without even having to appeal except for an agent wrongfully terminating my request. I immediately appealed and spoke to an agent. I was sent a letter approving my disabled status but it still says my payments are suspended. I can’t reach anyone to fix this!

I am a huge tech fan however, your AI that you are going to implement doesn’t mean crap when the SSA hangs up on every call or “you’re wait time is 120 minutes”. I’ve been calling everyday and online everyday. I’m 64, disabled and without an income. Thank you so much for making me homeless at 64. Nice work!!!! Fire more people!!! You’re killing people!!!

I am inquiring again about monies I am owed since Oct.2023,from them taking out $174.00 turned in to 184.00 in 2025.They recently finally stopped taking it out,but I’ve been following up since Oct.2023 every few months to see when I’m going to get that money back.I was told numerous times it will take months. That was since 2023 and everytime I have followed up.I was approved back then to have that money paid by state. And I should have gotten the full amount back deposited in my bank account. I am living in poverty so as it is somehow, they said I lost my medicade last few months was I was told by my Medicare company. My a.ount if money has not changed I haven’t worked since 2023.Was told I make to much money.Thats nor so.The Northampton human resources Money management and My Social Security are not on same page.Human Resources is saying I make X amount of dollars and my Social Security payments don’t match. So with Human Resources saying I make to much. I have had my snap reduced, lost my medicade, and my monthly OTC amount from health insurance was cut to a fraction of what I got and now is quarterly. This has all put me in a very bad place. Can’t make it on Snap was done with that last week.Still have another week to go and no money to buy stuff till my Social security is deposited. Please Can Anyone please help me.I don’t want to end up on Street with my dog.I am to old for that 66 be 67 July 1.

If DOGE has found legitimate fraud and waste, how long will it take to correct the issues, will there be criminal investigations, and will the money be returned? How can these issues be remedied so they can never happen again?

Former retired social security workers have stated that DOGE has been giving out errant information about “fraud & waste”. The so called deceased people that DOGE said were still receiving payments were in error because of with the SSA being short staffed and unable to keep up with properly updating their database deceased individuals were shown as stop receiving payments. Trump and Musk never checked into the possibility of any errant information given by DOGE; they just went with what DOGE said and have consequently made it living hell for social security recipients. Very long call waiting times and sometimes the calls never even get through. So how in the heck are we supposed to make an appointment or speak to a live person if it’s almost impossible to get through?
