He was chairman and CEO of Fiserv? Is he going to bring Fiserv’s reliability and responsiveness to Social Security? If so, be afraid, be very afraid:

One major source of funding for Social Security should be contributions from immigrants’ paychecks. Dumping out the baby with the bathwater?

Welcome Frank, and Buona Fortuna. SSA is going much better than it was in 2023. I wonder what the reason was when I applied at 70 years old, went in person, and then got told they have to give me an appointment two months later to take my application by phone. I wonder if it was so that they could justify all those “working from home” folks that were hired, to have something to do. It was less efficient back then, not more efficient. This is working better these days.

I hope you are sincere in your comment to protect Social Security.
Supporting “DOGE” is not supporting Social Security.

Make a social security account and see if that helps. Then you can communicate with them electronically. Supposedly. I have not communicated with them in this manner yet, most of them are unhappy with the President , burned out and need to retire and many lose their benefits for their cruelty to humanity.
      Try to create an account.
You are 81 … I pray you get answers soon

Will those of us that are over have been waiting 500 + days now stuck in the system longer? I have been following the weekly meetings held by the interim Commissioner and his leadership team on Ytube. The transparency and swift moves to change the process’s seems great…

Finally. Perhaps the first professional to come in and fix a broken system. The acting commissioner has enhanced and kept the system going. Time for a complete overhaul.
